The 2025 Silver Eagle First Eagle Privy is certified NGC MS70 and carries a hand-signed Mark Salzberg label. The label reads “2025(P) Eagle S$1 First Eagle Privy Release” and notes “One of First 50,000 Issued.” In addition, the label is limited to 2,500 signed labels, which adds scarcity for collectors.
The First Eagle Privy marks the first time the U.S. Mint added a small eagle privy mark to the American Silver Eagle in 2025. Therefore, this release stands apart from earlier years of the series. Moreover, NGC graded this coin MS70, the top of the 70-point scale.
Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty appears on the obverse of the First Eagle Privy. Meanwhile, Emily Damstra’s heraldic eagle fills the reverse. The photograph shows a representative NGC holder with the signed label.
Collectors often pair top-grade coins with signed labels, yet few holders combine both. Moreover, the limit of 2,500 signed labels keeps supply tight. As a result, the 2025 Silver Eagle First Eagle Privy suits collectors of modern U.S. silver and anyone building a signed Silver Eagle set. It also makes a strong centerpiece for a privy collection.
